One of my proudest accomplishments as Attorney General has been cracking down on polluters and making sure our drinking water is safe.
Preserving our clean water and Oklahoma's natural beauty is part of our way of life, but it is critical to our economy as well. Agriculture depends on a clean water supply, and water recreation is a thriving industry in Eastern Oklahoma. Also, businesses will not locate in an area where the safety of drinking water is an issue.
Once again, it is not a choice between agriculture and the environment. We simply must protect both for Oklahoma to keep moving forward.
